Strider is a 2 year old AWR colt. He is currently 15.1 hands. He will grow to be over 16 hands. He is a Tovero Warmblood that genetically carries both the Tobiano and Overo characteristics. He has a better that 50% chance of passing color on to his offspring. His bloodlines do not include any Samber or Rainbow blood so he is not at all related to Art Deco, Hall of Fame, Sempatico or any other Samber offspring. He graded 1st premium at his inspection as a weanling. His sire is Stanhopes Diddicoy a Hessen (German Warmblood) stallion that is owned by Vicountess Anita Petersham. Diddicoy is the receipient of Britian's Henry Tudor Fertility Cup and has paraded at Badminton as a leading sire. His impressive bloodlines include Ico who sired puissance specialist Nekoma that holds a record jump of 7'7”, Gottward leading show jumper sire from Germany and Gotthard one of the top rated sires of all time and founder of the G line of Jumpers. Diddicoy is the #1 rated colored dressage horse in Britian. Milton, one of the best known jumpers in Europe, has the same grandsire as Diddicoy. His dam is Mahogany Moon an AWR mare who graded 1st premium at her inspection. Strider is test breeding this year and currently has been sucessful in getting all the mares exposed to him pregnant. As his training continues this summer we will start riding him, preparing him for a career as an eventer.
