Max is a 6 year old percheron paint cross. He is 16.1 hands and is an extremly kind and gentle horse. Max has begun his eventing career. He won 6th place at his first schooling show at Rocking Horse in the Entry Division. Max got a 9 for one movement on his first dressage test. He had clear rounds in both stadium and cross country. As always he was a perfect gentleman and was completly calm in his first horse show environment. He will be moving up to Beginner Novice next month and then Novice as soon as he is ready, probably in August. Max has potential to go Training or Prelim. He has amazing natural movement for dressage. He has currently schooled cross country through Novice level jumps including ditches, banks, drops and water. He is a outstanding field hunter or hill topper and will give even a green or timid rider an enjoyable and safe ride. Max's gentle and laid back nature will keep any rider safe and comfortable making him an outstanding beginner's horse. He is so safe that I have put first time riders on him and taken them on trail rides. He has great ground manners, is easy to clip, bathe, load and stands well for the farrier. He is proving to be extremely easy to train, enjoys competing and has incredible potential. His price will increase as his competition experience increases. He is available now for $9,000.
